Lovable app rejected? Here's why, and how we fix it.
Lovable builds great web apps. The App Store and Google Play want apps that feel at home on a phone. That gap is behind most Lovable rejections, and it's exactly what we close.
Your app provides a limited user experience as it is not sufficiently different from a mobile browsing experience.
Next steps: We encourage you to review your app concept and incorporate different content and features that are in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.
Why Lovable apps get rejected
A Lovable project is a web app, usually with Supabase behind it. To get it onto an iPhone, it gets wrapped in an app shell. The wrapper works. What reviewers react to is everything the wrapper doesn't change.
- It still feels like a websitePages load like a browser, links open in Safari, and nothing uses the phone itself. Reviewers call this Guideline 4.2.
- A login wall on the first screenSupabase sign-in is easy to add, so many Lovable apps ask for an account before showing anything.
- No privacy policy, no account deletionThe app saves emails through Supabase, but there's no policy page and no way to delete an account in the app.
- Stripe for subscriptionsLovable's Stripe setup is perfect for the web. For digital features on iPhone, Apple wants its own in-app purchase.
- Leftover placeholder screensSample data, "coming soon" pages and unused tabs from early prompts.

What we fix
Every app is different, but these come up again and again:
We make the changes inside your own Lovable project and your own developer account. The app stays yours, and it's resubmitted from your account, not ours. If it comes back rejected, we keep going at no extra cost.
How long it takes

Questions about Lovable apps
Can a Lovable app really get approved on the App Store?
Yes. The tool isn't the problem; what the app does on a phone is. Web-built apps pass review once they feel like an app and meet the privacy and payment rules.
Do I need a paid Lovable plan to share my project?
No. Inviting an Editor through Share works on every plan, including Free.
Will you change how my app looks?
Only where it's needed to pass review. It stays your app, in your Lovable project, and you can see every change we make.
Can I keep building in Lovable after you're done?
Yes. We work inside your project, so you carry on prompting as before. If a later update brings a new rejection, our care plan covers it.
Built with something else?
Your app, approved.
Share your project in two minutes. We review it within a day and get to work inside your own account.
